About us

All Seasons Care is an independent provider of domiciliary home care, owned and managed by Directors, David Priest and Donald Cowie. They both have plenty of experience of the day to day running of a successful business and in their previous careers managed other businesses for over twenty years.

 They have been involved since the company was formed over 21 years ago and together with Donna Mullins, the Registered Care Manager, who has been the Care Manager since the company’s inception, they share a joint vision of a service delivering exceptional standards of care for adults needing support in the community.

 Donna is a former registered nurse with over 30 years experience working with elderly and vulnerable adults. The management team recognised there was a growing demand for personalised high-quality care at home due to an ageing population. They were aware of inconsistent, rushed and poor levels of care being provided by some agencies. They realised that there had to be a better way of delivering care and that companionship was just as important as carrying out daily tasks. Carers are encouraged to focus on what the client needs and wants to live a happy, fulfilling life, and as they may be the only person they see all day, to make time to have a cup of tea and a chat.

 The management are supported by a highly committed team all of whom have formal experience of working in the care sector and many also have personal experience of caring for relatives.

At All Seasons Care we do everything we can to help you carry on living independently in your own home. The care plan we produce will be comprehensive and be unique to you. At the assessment we will find out how you like things done, your likes and dislikes, your personal care routines and your allergies and dietary requirements. We can even include in the care plan whether you like sugar in your tea!

Our years of experience mean we can offer advice on care funding and point you in the right direction. We can put you in touch with other health professionals such as social workers and occupational therapists. We have a considerable knowledge base and can recommend trades men from plumbers to locksmiths. Nothing is too much trouble so don't be afraid to ask!

Our carers are supported by an experienced office team who are available 24/7 for advice and to deal with any concerns they have.

We understand how important it is for clients and their supporters to  be able to see their care visits and to check the times and names of carers who will be visiting.  For this reason we offer our clients the facility to view their visits online.

We are regulated and approved

Unlike some home care providers, who are introduction agencies, the service you receive from All Seasons Care is fully regulated,  approved, inspected and rated. 

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. They monitor, inspect and regulate all care services to make sure that they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. This is to ensure that people have access to safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led care services. They publish what they find and give each provider performance ratings.

We have to comply with regulatory standards to maintain our registration, meaning our clients are reassured that they receive high standards of  care.

We take great effort to train our care staff thoroughly for the service that they provide. This is backed up by an ongoing training course, in which each one of our carers will receive continuing training in line with all developments. Our care staff are rigorously screened and vetted, friendly, professional and skill matched to our client's requirements. We use real-time mobile technology for monitoring home care visits. This also provides staff with the information they need to cover their visits. It improves service delivery and provides data security and lone worker safety. If a carer is delayed we can inform you or a relative to prevent unnecessary worry.

compassionate care

Crystal clear charges, free assessment and free on call service 24/7

We offer a free home assessment during which we can assess the level of care that is required and explain the services we can offer. There is no obligation, and if necessary, as well as a home visit, we can assess clients whilst they are in a residential home or in hospital awaiting discharge. Our charges have no hidden fees, there is a simple pricing structure and there is no call out or travel costs charged. The hourly rate starts at £25.00 per hour for day time week day care, a price list can be sent to you on request.

We also operate a free 24-hour on-call service, which is available outside office hours for emergency situations. This allows you peace of mind and the knowledge that we are always on the end of the phone if you need us.

I was initially wary of engaging an agency to help me cope with my husband's increasingly impaired mental and physical health as his dementia progressed. From the first meeting with All Seasons Care personnel I was reassured as our wishes were listened to and a care package was designed to fully meet our requirements. This was adapted without difficulty as the situation changed and more support was necessary.
